Josh and Katy's family shoot in Coventry
It was great to catch up with Katy and Josh and their little boy (and Paddington the cat) a couple of years after we shot their wedding. There isn’t much that makes us happier than a shoot that shows a family exactly where they are. We started with some casual cosy shots by the Christmas tree and around the house, then a walk through the local streets to the park, taking in little back alleys. Everything was really local and we love it!

The People's Orchestra and People's Show Choir Christmas Concert, Birmingham Town Hall
We’re getting into the festive spirit with a little help from The People’s Orchestra and The People’s Show Choir. They’re such a friendly bunch and we love working with them. It’s been so cool to watch them grow and this time Malc was behind the scenes at their biggest concert so far - they sold out Birmingham Town Hall! It sounded incredible.
Family Christmas Photos
These guys put up their Christmas tree during our session, while their little boy did his best to eat the glittery baubles. I say tree, I should say one of at least four trees in their house.
I’m not sharing their little boys face, but here’s a little taster of a very cute session.

The Book Party Christmas Party, The Old Library, Digbeth
Malc got to join The Book Party for their Christmas shenanigans at the Old Library in Digbeth. Flippin eck these guys go in big! There was even excitement in the queue as people waited to get in. They got the best welcome from hosts Vic & AJ, then made their way through to all the fest vibes and mulled wine a book fan could dream of. It was great to see authors and readers connecting. Shout out to the best local bookshop The Heath for bringing the books- wouldn’t have been a book party without that- and to Old Library for being the perfect venue.
