Our Favourite February Weddings

We love February weddings: their cosy vibes as guests gather inside away from the cold, the gorgeous light and early evenings (the candles and sparklers and getting started on the dancing) and all the romance of Valentine’s Day too. Plenty of perks for this overlooked, off-peak month. Until we can get back to the wonderful weddings we’re dreaming of we’ll have to make do with memories.

Here are some of our favourites…

Kev & Naomi had an elegant wedding at Brockencote Hall near Kidderminster with a vintage feel throughout the details from the bridesmaids’ fur wraps to the stunning venue.

We love their little flower girl wearing a pale pink tutu.

Malcolm & Laura’s wedding was full of fun: they started the day with their legal wedding ceremony dressed in onsies and finished the night making their exit on a skateboard. Their venue was a community hall in Hitchin- giving them the perfect blank canvas to do their own thing and a great excuse to serve pizza from a food van.

Ian & Candice got married in Putney in a fantastically British vintage wedding. Their red London bus was the perfect iconic visual. After their church ceremony, the space was transformed for the wedding reception while guests had tea and cake downstairs.

Indy and Mimi had a stunning wedding in the beautiful town of Saltaire, near Bradford. They made the most of the beautiful buildings in Saltaire choosing the United Reformed Church for the ceremony and Victoria Hall for their reception. Our favourite bit was the curry feast they served up for the wedding breakfast. Though the DJ set could easily have topped the list, it’s still one of the best we’ve ever seen.

James & Emily’s St Audries Park wedding was admittedly one of the wettest we’ve ever been too. But inside was warm and dry. All the details of this wedding were exquisite, from Emily’s pale green dress to the hand made porcelain candle bowls on their table centrepieces.

Steve & Louisa’s colourful Sheffield Wedding still brings a smile to my face. Their reception venue was the fantastic Kelham Island Museum, wedding guests could explore the exhibits and even play in the ball pit before dinner was served.
