This simple little ceremony is such a huge romantic gesture. Julie planned a special occasion as a surprise for her husband Bill. They’ve been married for 30 years so she decided to have a Renewal of Vows. She wanted something positive after a hard time, and she wanted to thank him. She wrote their short ceremony herself and picked out a silly song from Youtube to give them a giggle. Son Rob came along as witness, DJ and coat carrier.
Julie was a little nervous about how this secret day would go, but I loved talking her through the day, reassuring her and helping her to look forward to it. We’d love to help you plan your photoshoot event timings and take away those worries!
“Thank for turning what was a traumatic day last year into a lovely day for us. I’m so glad we did it and we booked you. Couldn’t have asked for a more considerate, dedicated, funtime professional.”
Julie picked out Coventry registry office for its intimate ceremony space and historic building. So we headed into the courtyard for some photos in the glorious sunshine in courtyard. They chatted about the last thirty years of their romance, and a bit about the prawn and chilli linguine Bill was hoping to order at lunch.
There was plenty of time before their table reservation so Nom took them on an impromptu tour of Coventry. There were a few photos in this little park and a wander through the city centre to the cathedral.
The Botanist was the perfect spot for a celebratory lunch. Massive thank you to the sweet staff who were very accommodating of photos and brought out a bottle of champagne to congratulate Julie & Bill.
