At the weekend we got a chance to properly celebrate this little chap and his beautiful Mum.
Erdington Foodbank Launch
Yesterday was the official launch of our Erdington Foodbank, we held a little gathering of our supporters, partners and volunteers. But the most important thing happened before the notorieties arrived. We gave out food for nearly 30 people, to help them through the next week. You can see a few photos of of the real business of foodbank below.

What really goes on at Foodbank?
Volunteers receive food donations, scan and store them. They greet people attending with a hot drink and slice of home made cake, then ask about food preferences and then prepare a bag with a weeks worth of food for their household. They add in treats and toiletries. And they offer a listening ear.
Praise With Africa
What a sound! These guys came over from Zambia and are raising money for a school by singing all around England. You should check out videos from one of their concerts made by our friend Dinu.

We've been helping Christ Church Selly Park with a project to document their church life in their lovely new building. Thought we'd share a few of the photos with you lot, there's some from their church gatherings, house groups, coffee morning and art group.

Parish Weekend Away
We spent this weekend being children's workers in Staverton on the St Philip's & St James' church weekend away. We had a tun of fun working with the 4 to 11 year olds learning about showing God's light. On Saturday the children made a backdrop which we then set up as a photo booth at the party that evening. Thanks for having us Dorridge!
