Isaac's Autumn family photos, Bodenham Arboretum
We had such a wonderful day at Bodenham Arboretum taking Autumn family photos with this sweet family.
Sometimes toddlers, unsurprisingly, are not instantly in love with the idea of family photos. But we found heaps of ways to cheer him up. I think by the end we’d won him over. If you’re wondering about the key to success, it was lunch. Same for Nom most of the time.
It’s seriously fun to watch these three together. We’ve known Joe & Sarah for a long time now and it’s lovely to see them become the sweetest parents. Anyone want to see their wedding photos? My Mum refers to their wedding as ‘The Space Hopper Wedding’ to this day. They’re still two of our favourite people, except now they’re three.
The toddlers-eye view of the Arboretum was great fun! We played hide and seek, stomped around in the leaves and waved at the sheep. Standard day for Nom & Malc ;)
So, are you up for some Autumn photos? We love relaxed family photoshoots, without the cringy posing but with all the puddle jumping and cake breaks you can muster. These guys got their photoshoot as a gift voucher, you can get your hands on one too. They’re instant download and make a lovely present for a new baby or child’s birthday, even if I do say so myself.

Dan and Alice's engagement photos in Redditch, Birmingham
We’ve met these guys at a few weddings and hopefully, it’s their turn in spring! We met up for a dog walk across the fields near their home to talk about all their plans for the rescheduled wedding day. Of course we couldn’t leave their dog Digby out of the fun, having him around made this into a really chilled shoot.
I loved how enthusiastic they were talking about their venue (Cider Mill Barns). They first went to see it before the building work was complete and now they’re such big fans that we can’t wait to see it either.
I love Alice’s face in these last few pictures. It’s the look of relief after we walked a little closer to the cows than she would have liked! Sorry Alice, hope you think the photos were worth it!
If you’d like more of on our engagement sessions take a look here or drop us a message to discuss what you’re looking for. They’re a great way to see how we’d all work together on your wedding day if you’d like to take us for a test drive.
