ADE & CATH’S WEDDING
There are so many reasons why this was a special wedding for us- Cath and Nom were at school together, they live just round the corner and it was one of the very last weddings at Packington Moor. But mostly these two are simply lovely and loved by so many people.
Cath got ready at her parents house in a flurry of excitement with a team of family, bridesmaids, bridesman, flower girls hair and makeup. Ade got ready at their home just round the corner with a few fellas and a much more chilled vibe.
At the church the bridesmaids helped Cath out of the car and carried her train up the snowy pathway. The small church made for a cosy ceremony, with the string quartet setting the most beautiful atmosphere. There was a lovely family feel to the service with their Mums signing the registers and little flower girls stealing the show. Back out in the snow guests lined up to greet the happy couple and sprinkle them with confetti as they set off in the wedding car.
The winter sun was gorgeous as we arrived at Packington Moor so we headed straight to the garden for photos with Cath & Ade. Their families gathered in the courtyard for some fun formal photos, then we all dashed inside to warm up and eat canapés.
The main room was set up for the wedding breakfast, twinkling with candles and fairy lights everywhere. The food was a real treat and the Packington Moor staff worked their socks off to make sure everyone was well cared for. After dessert the speeches got started with a fun slideshow from the Father of the Bride. He had such sweet words to say about Cath and her Mum but ended up with a hilarious video of Caths’ dancing. Cath’s sister, the Best Man and Ade all followed with great speeches, a wonderful tribute to the couple.
There was relaxed time to mingle as the evening guests arrived. Cath and Ade cut the cake and headed to the dance floor for their first dance. The band were really good fun and got everyone to join in. There were heaps of sparklers for all the guests to end the the night with a extra dose of magic.
