PHIL & RACHEL’S WEDDING
Phil & Rachel arrived at Orchardleigh with lots of their family and friends the day before their wedding. There were are plenty of places on site for them to stay and get ready on the wedding morning.
They tied the knot in the island church within the grounds. It is such an atmospheric space, with a log burning stove to keep guests warm. Squeezed in together the guests were delighted to witness their teary vows. I love the reassurance from the best man a simple hand on his shoulder encouraging Phil. Outside on the church bridge the newly weds were doused in confetti before time for a few formal photos by the lake.
Then Phil & Rachel took a little walk to the walled garden where guests and canapés were waiting to see them. There was time to chat on the decking as their little guests picked flowers and older ones sipped on a glass of pimped prosecco. For the wedding breakfast they were seated in the orangery, a beautiful light filled space which Phil & Rachel had decorated with paper cranes. At the end of the meal the speeches had us all chuckling at stories of their childhood adventures and the start of their romance.
The evening was the perfect chilled out combination of sitting chatting and fun on the dance floor. The photo booth got in on the action too- make sure you check it out in the video below.
