ROB & ROSE’S WEDDING

It is so much fun when your school friend gets married and invites you along to document the whole day!

The girls got ready at Rose & Rob’s house then two of the bridesmaids drove the bridal party to Grafton Manor for the ceremony. We waited for the start of the ceremony in a gorgeous room with a huge window to spy on guests as they arrived. After a quick chat with the registrars it was just a short walk to the chapel.

The civil ceremony included a fun poem written by the couple and violinist to play during the signing of the register. We made our way from the chapel to the lawn for group shots before guests set off, leaving Rob & Rose alone for some photos in the grounds.

At Rock Village Hall there were homemade canapés and drinks as everyone regrouped and chatted out on the decking. When it was time for the wedding breakfast, everyone took their seats at long tables for a BBQ feast. The caterers brought out platters of food for us to share and enjoy.

After the speeches Rose’s family set the tone for the party singing some songs before the first dance and DJ Ed Steelefox took the reigns for the disco. It was a lovely evening, when they weren’t killing it on the dance floor guests sat chatting outside long into the darkness.
