JAY & HARRI’S WEDDING
There’s something extra special about getting ready for your wedding at Bridwell Park- it’s a very grand setting that you can pretend is your own home just for the day. Lots of Harri’s entourage stayed in the house the night before the wedding. In the morning they only had to walk down the grand staircase and relax while hair and make up went about their glamorous business. There were a gaggle of flower girls running wild and free. They enjoyed the cinema room as elsewhere people arranged flowers and checked on preparations in the orangery.
The guys assembled at the pub with guests arriving for a few drinks and snooker at the Prince of Wales pub. Having filled up the pub everyone walked down the road to the church together.
After an emotional first look with her Dad and the girls, Harri was ready to set off for the church. The sweet flower girls led the procession down the aisle, followed by bridesmaids and Harri with her Dad. There were lots of sparkling eyes at the emotion of the moment hit. After a traditional wedding ceremony Harri & Jay greeted all their guests outside. Everyone gathered round the wedding car with confetti to send them on their way back to Bridwell.
We spotted a few dear as we drove up the estate driveway ready to take photos with the couple. Guests mingled in the garden with drinks and snacks until it was time to wander over to the Orangery. The space was beautifully laid out for dinner and we all tucked into a gorgeous feast of sharing platters.
The signature cocktails and speeches kept everyone merry. Soon evening guests began to arrive and everyone spilled out into the garden. With the band and the photo booth getting lively inside the Orangery, the marquee outside provided extra space for guests to relax at the bar. The perfect ending to a gorgeous day.
