JOHN & ELLIE’S WEDDING
There were so many familiar faces at this wedding it almost felt like our extended family!
Ellie and her girls had the most incredible vintage hair dressers on hand for a glam start to the morning. Her parents joined the fun a little later on. Then the cars arrived to take everyone the down the road to the church.
The guys ran errands before heading to Christ Church Selly Park to make sure everything was ready. Guests assembled in a buzz of excitement. The ceremony was great- and we loved seeing our friend Megan presiding and other friends in the band. John’s Sad shared some words of wisdom and they exchanged their I dos.
At the end the procession lead everyone through to the church hall for refreshments. John and Ellie cut the cake and everyone grabbed a slice.
The wedding car took the Bride and Groom over to The Cobden Hotel for photos in the garden with their bridal party. Once all other guests arrived we took our seats for food. Guests sang ‘Superhero Grace’ and tucked into the wedding breakfast. The incredible speeches were MC’ed by their hilarious Toast Master and were finished with the crowning of a new Toast King.
It was as lovely sunny evening so we took some family group photos in the garden as guests chatted. The barn dance got started with a group first dance with everyone invited to join the newly weds. There was a lot of fun on the dance floor, with only a brief pause to tuck into a tasty buffet. When the band eventually had to leave a playlist kept the dance floor dwellers happy until bedtime.
