PHILL & JENNY’S WEDDING

Jenny had a quiet, calm morning getting ready with just one bridesmaid, Nom and her cats around. They did their own hair and makeup, then made their own bouquets. They toasted the wedding day with special champagne glasses from a friend, then it was time to put on the dress! Her Dad arrived to take them to the wedding and when they got there a troop of tiny flower girls and the page boy were waiting to meet them.

Phill was already at Luckley Farm. He got ready surrounded by his groomsmen and lots of family (that troop of little people are his nieces and nephew). He had a house on site for his ushers to get suited and booted. It was just a little stroll over to the room where he’d marry Jenny.

It was a short, sweet ceremony in an intimate space, decorated with a flock of paper birds and an arch of eucalyptus. The ring bearer lead the procession, followed by flower girls with wands and then Jenny, her Dad and bridesmaid. There were giggles through the vows and a real sense of support from the crowd.

Afterwards Jenny & Phill headed outside and led their guests to the cottage. The sun came out so everyone was able to enjoy for drinks and chatting in the sunshine. We took some family photos inside the house and explored the grounds for pictures of the Bride and Groom. The children were happy playing in the garden and ‘pimping’ their drinks with mint leaves and berries.

Eventually guests took their seats for the wedding feast, served up by the team from The Cotswold Kitchen who must be magicians as well as chefs! The speeches got underway and we toasted the couple with glasses of their custom wedding beer ‘The Hoppy Couple’. Then it was time to dance the night away as the DJ stuck on some tunes. (Check out how sweet the kids are on the dance floor in their PJs!)
