Zak and Niamh's Wedding at Hundred House Hotel, Telford
Great to be back at one of our favourite venues. There’s nowhere quite like Hundred House, especially on a sunny day so all the guests can explore the gardens.
wedding morning preparations
The girls all got ready together at Hundred House. The getting-ready room is a renovated train carriage out in the garden. They moved upstairs to get dressed - I loved their coordinated but not matching dresses. They were a lovely, fun bunch to spend the day with.
Malc met the boys at the pub where they were having a quick drink before heading over to the church.
The flower arch and live singer made for the perfect bridal party entrance. Niamh’s train looked great on that aisle too. It was a really traditional ceremony with vows followed by readings and singing. Then everyone greeted the newly weds outside the church door. There’s views for miles across the fields so we got some slightly windy family photos before Zak and Niamh hopped in the Bentley back to Hundred House.
There was time for a few more beers out at the marquee before the guests were seated for the wedding breakfast. We took the chance to get a few relaxed photos of Zak and Niamh in the gardens while the guests moved round to the barn. It was really great for these two to take a breather away from the busy crowd. It helped that we’d met them for engagement photos, they felt more relaxed with the cameras around.
The barn was full to the rafters with friends, they even had tables for guests up on the balcony.
After dinner it was time for speeches, which were surprisingly moving. There was time to wander back to the marquee and chat as evening guests arrived.
Back in the barn Z&N cut the wedding cake and DJ got the dancing going with the first dance.
Upstairs we had a chill space for people to have a good in the photo booth then write messages alongside their pictures in the guest book. And downstairs the crowd got lively on the dancefloor.
Happy anniversary Zak & Niamh- love Nom x
