MAtt & Emily’s WEDDING
We had a great time walking around Marlow with these two on their wedding day. They got married at their church and walked down the street to their reception.
wedding morning preparations
Matt and his team got ready at his friends’ house - Malc got to join them and had a great time catching up with friends from this wedding we photographed a couple of years before. It was a chilled morning, Matt even got to show off his pocket square folding skills.
Meanwhile, Nom was with the girls who got ready at home, then headed to the Complete Angler (great name for a hotel!) to meet the rest of their group and get the wedding dress on. From there it was a short and beautiful walk over the bridge to the church.
the wedding ceremony at ALL saints church
The ceremony was in a church they’ve both worked for, so it felt really special. There were prayers from friends and a huge sense of everyone rooting for them.
Tea and coffee was served as we took some group photos outside by the river. Then confetti kicked of the processions down the street to the hall for the reception. As guests were seated we snuck off with Matt & Emily for some photos of just the two of them around the bridge.
Then it was back to the church hall for the speeches and a wonderful feast. We love that Matt knows the team at Chives, I’m not sure if he got extra perks, but the tacos were incredible!
Matt and Emily sat at their sweetheart top table to enjoy the reception together. It was cute to see their reactions to the speeches. They swapped wedding letters to each other in a quiet moment which is a great wedding idea.
Part of the room was set up for dancing and we put the photo booth in the side room. We love this bunch of friends, they’re great at partying together, so it was a fun night. It seemed like no time at all before we were all waving them off at the end of the party.
