Julie & Dom’s WEDDING at Highbury Hall, Kings Heath Birmingham
I think my favorite thing from this wedding is Julie’s bouquet. Isn’t it the perfect choice for a springtime wedding at Highbury Hall!
wedding morning preparations
Malc was with Dom and the guys setting up while Nom joined the girls getting ready upstairs. It’s so nice to be able to walk down the stairs and be at the wedding ceremony without having to think about the weather or cars.
the wedding ceremony at highbury hall
Dom & Julie chose to have a simple ceremony. Couples always look so good saying their vows in the bay window at Highbury. Officially married they went out into the garden for confetti and drinks with their guests.
It was a sunny day perfect for group photos on the lawn, then we took a walk in the park for photos of D&J.
Their favourite moments:
“Walking down the aisle. Forgetting the vows. Beautiful weather. Stunning flowers. Friends and family. Great music from the DJ”
their wedding reception
The Highbury Hall team like to sit their couples in a quiet room upstairs as their guests find their tables for the meal. Then the newlyweds get to make a big entrance down the grand staircase to their top table.
After dinner, the speeches were a rollercoaster of sweet and silly, including a giving metal table vice as a thank-you gift. It’s always a fun insight to hear about our bride and groom from the people who know them the best.
We ended our photos with the cutting of the cake but Dom & Julie still had a lot of partying left to do. The DJ was one of their highlights of the day.
