Carol & shaun’S WEDDING at Birmingham register office and Roundhouse Gin Distillery
Carol and Shaun wanted to get married with their kids at the heart of the celebration. They were planning for a relaxed and fun day with their family and friends… they smashed that goal!

Carol arrived by taxi and the kids went running outside to greet her. It was so lovely to see them so excited. He brother and his son had flown in from Australia, it was really special to have everyone together for the first time.
They got married in room three, which is the Register Office’s biggest space, with plenty of room for all their guests.
Their eldest son brought the rings on a little cushion and gazed up as his parents exchanged vows. After his duties were done his little brother wanted to come up and give his Mum a hug. The boys were the sweetest, fully engaged in the whole ceremony.
C&S signed the schedule and guests snapped a few photos in the arch.

Everyone made headed out to the courtyard. We lined up ready to throw confetti, which was beautiful!
We took photos in the courtyard, starting with the whole group and then taking different family groups as guests chatted. The confetti was blowing around in the breeze. We love that Carol and Shaun addded photos with all the girls and all the guys at the last minute, they turned out to be really fun moments.
Everyone walked round to the canal together. The guests headed to the canal boat and we took some pictures of Carol, Shaun and their boys just away from the rest of the crowd.

The kids were so excited to take the boat and had a lot of fun watching everyone on the towpath. The adults were happy too: there’s a bar on board. Malc followed along the journey getting photos of the boat from outside
Then we all hopped off at the gin distillery, talk about door-to-door drop-off!

The room upstairs was reserved just for the wedding, with flowers on the tables, the cake set up and a table full of drinks on ice. It was the perfect relaxed space for these two and their guests. There’s a separate room at the back which they had set aside for all the kids to chill and make as much noise as they like.
We took a few pictures of the two of them just outside by the tunnel to the roundhouse. There was time to chat and drink before food was served and we left them to enjoy the meal.
