Lauren & Murray’S WEDDING at hyde park picture house in leeds
Lauren and Murray booked two gorgeous Leeds wedding venues for their day. They were looking for vintage style, relaxed photos and we were delighted to do that!
Their day started with all guests invited to watch a movie at the Picture House. As they emerged from the screening Chef Miller had set up an incredible spread in the foyer. Everyone grabbed a plate and headed outside to sit in the sunshine. There was eating and chatting until it was time to head back into the screen room for the ceremony.

Guests sat in the cinema seating and up on the balcony. The bridal party made their entrance, Lauren’s Dad walked her to the steps and she made her own way up onto the stage where the registrars and Murray were ready. They giggled through their vows and exchange of rings. Then took a seat on the stage to sign the paperwork.
They walked down the aisle and we snuck up to the projection room for some pictures of the two of them. We were planning to have some secret pictures on the balcony too, but Lauren’s family found us up there. The perfect chance to say hi and grab a picture with them too.

Everyone was mingling outside so we gathered some fun family groups out there and finished up with a confetti tunnel. We waved bye to the guests and walked round to Hyde Park with Lauren and Murray. It was fun to get some really relaxed pictures as they strolled through the park and we all chatted.

The most silly moment from this wedding: Murray needed the loo, so as we headed to the car he found a tree surrounded by pigeons. A passing gentleman shouted “Watch out, the birds love a little worm!”. The moment is commemorated in a photo with Lauren’s bouquet in the shot.
Ahem, anyway. We all got in our car and drove over to the Adelphi for the reception.

The sunlight was streaming in through the windows. It was incredible. The shadows from their table flowers were perfection. We love that they’d named their tables after their favourite films and guests were comparing who got the best movies. We had a cheeky table for two, named Harry Potter.
Lauren had made the triple wedding cakes, all beautiful and gluten free.
We took some more group photos and plenty of candid shots as everyone relaxed at the bar. Then it was time for the speeches. Lauren, her mum and brother all spoke, with an emotional ending from him. The warmth in the room was wonderful.
Then they got cracking on the buffet and it was time for us to make a move back down the road to Birmingham.
Happy anniversary you two- love Nom x
