Their engagement photos
We adored getting to know these two and their dog Trev, who couldn’t be at the wedding but brought main character energy to their engagement photos (which were at their incredible home on the Park Hill Estate in Sheffield).
wedding morning preparations
The guys got ready at Park Hill. When they were all dressed up they took a stroll around the estate, its the perfect backdrop for a photo shoot so Malc couldn’t resist.
The girls were at Bridesmaid Gabbii’s house, with all the vegan snacks a girl could dream of. Two of Eleanor’s sisters joined them to get ready. Then a family friend arrived with his BMW to drive them to the wedding.

A pair of pals walked her down the aisle and they were ready to meet her when we walked into Trafalgar Warehouse
Her friend’s Mum, Cathy was leading them through the ceremony, with registrars to make it legal and Matt’s brother doing a religious blessing. They were quite the team and I think it came together just how M&E had hoped.
“How amazing our patchwork ceremony was - tying together the legal part, celebrant and religious blessing. How nice it was that all of our complex and wide families got on chatting to each other.”
Everyone spilled out onto the street to throw confetti and for a couple of minutes there was a cloud of confetti fluttering above our heads. We gathered some family groups on the corner of the street while others got a drink and crisps.
Eleanor had scouted the perfect spot for photos just a short walk from Trafalgar Warehouse so we took a little walk round there. The city was buzzing, full of energy for Tramlines. It’s so much fun when passers-by wish our couples congratulations.

When we got back everyone had gathered into a long tunnel to welcome them to the wedding reception. We took our seats at long banqueting tables and Kathy led a candle-lighting unity ceremony with a difference. Matt & Eleanor used their candles to light a unity candle, then one guest from each table lit a candle from the unity candle and started a chain lighting candles all the way down the room. It was so much fun and great to have a little ritual at the start of the meal.
Guests went out to the food van for tasty treats (from Vegan Spice Leeds) which were delicious. Then we all sat back to listen to the speeches. We loved bridesmaid Gabbii’s toast to Eleanor’s Dad with whiskey for everyone, the perfect way to honour him.
The friends who had walked her down the aisle gave their speech at the edge of the dancefloor, then welcomed the couple up for their first dance. It was fun to see the dancefloor from the photo booth with people mixing between both and popping over to the bar or for a quick game in their chilled-out gaming corner. They even had a tent set up for kids to play.
