NATHAN & ABI’S WEDDING

We love that Nathan and Abi chose to pack their day full of their family for a truly personal celebration, with their son Theo right at the middle of things.

getting ready

Theo spent some of the morning getting ready with his Dad and the guys. They had bacon butties and time to chat. Then he headed over to join his Mum at her parents' with all the girls. There was a hum of activity as the ladies had their hair done and got all dressed up, with extra visitors arriving to join the fun. Check out Abi's Toy Story shoes and Theo's matching socks. Eventually, everyone set off for the church with Abi's Dad driving her in a vintage car.

Wedding service

Our lovely friend Manda was leading the service at St Luke's, she was ready outside to reassure the bridesmaids before they made their entrance. The service was sweet with such loving words delivered by Abi's Grandmother about the couple and their marriage.

Outside guests formed a tunnel to welcome the new Mr & Mrs to their wedding reception, conveniently taking place right next door. There was such a chilled-out vibe as everyone enjoyed the ice-cream van and the sound of the Polka Dots singers.

Wedding reception

Inside, the school hall provided plenty of space for their big crowd of wedding guests with some sitting on tables up on the stage. There were tuns of fun details from their colourful flower centrepieces to the pic n mix sweet stand for guests to help themselves.

They served an afternoon on vintage china and cake stands for the wedding breakfast, then guests settled in to listen to the wedding speeches.

The dance-floor was a lively one right from the first dance, thanks to The Collective Live Band who only stopped to allow a flashmob of ladies to take the stage.

As they made their sparkler getaway the families had one more surprise for Abi & Nathan, a fireworks display just before they set off.
