JAMES AND ELLIE’S WEDDING
We loved being a part of this glamorous wedding. James & Ellie’s day was packed full of luxury and we’re thrilled they picked us for photos and a stop motion movie of the big day.
Ellie had her hair and makeup dream team join her at home, which helped her and the bridesmaids to have fun as they got ready. Her dad drove her to the church where James was ready and waiting. He and the groomsmen had been there welcoming guests in the sunshine of that blustery morning.
Any nerves that had crept in while they walked down the aisle disappeared after someone played an accidental plonk on the organ during the vows. The Bride and Groom chuckled from the front and after that, it was all plain sailing.
My favourite bit in the stop motion might be James’ Mum’s hat blowing off in the wind and the laughs that follow, or shortly after, the look on James’ face as he spotted the surprise wedding car Ellie arranged to take them to the Old Vicarage Hotel.
“The key message we wanted for the day was for it to feel like a complete celebration of our romance made up of the people who had been there along the way”
It felt like there was lots of time to enjoy time with their guests, chatting outside at the reception as we organised some group photos. After they took their seats, emotional speeches had everyone giggling and some in tears.
There was dinner and cake cutting then George worked his magic, playing their first dance and keeping the party going long after dark. There was one final bit of magic as the bridal party gathered in the gardens for some fun with a bunch of sparklers. It was the perfect way to end the celebrations.
