Dan & Charlotte’s WEDDING
After an extra long wait Dan & Charlotte’s wedding came along on a gorgeous Autumn day. They finally got the wonderful celebration they’d been waiting for.
wedding morning preparations at Hoar Cross Hall
Charlotte got ready in the Royal Suite with her huge bridal party, which was wonderful. The suite is just as fancy as it sounds, with a warren of rooms and a private hot tub. When they were ready we walked down to the ceremony room together. Her little page boys were waiting at the door.

The bridal party lead Charlotte and her Dad down the most stunning aisle. The ceremony room at Hoar Cross has incredible ceilings and original William Morris wallpaper, the room was filled with candles and trees especially for them.
The sun was shinning as guests made their way into the gardens for reception drinks. We took group photos on the stairs
Dan and Charlotte had some time to catch up away from the crowd and we took photos as they had a walk in the gardens.

The wedding reception kicked off with speeches. We love an embarrassing prop and Dan’s best man didn’t disappoint when he introduced everyone to Dan’s favourite teddy.
After speeches it was time for guests to tuck into the wedding breakfast as their pianist played (and threw in a few Disney hits). The little ones escaped to the gorgeous library next door to stretch their legs, while the adults sat back and relaxed.
There was time for a break before the evening celebrations. Lots of guests went to rest in their rooms while others got a drink and sat in Hoar Cross Hall’s gorgeous lobby.

More guests arrived to party as we moved through to the evening celebration. Dan and Charlotte started the party by cutting the cake and taking to the dance floor for the first dance.
We had the sweet table right next to our photo booth (an occupational hazard!). Click the video to see how the photo booth went down at this wedding.
Probably our favourite moment of the night was everyone’s reaction to the DJ playing “ Me and Mrs Jones” (their new surname). Their guests surrounded them as they danced to their new unofficial theme song.
Happy anniversary you two. Hope you’re having a lovely time away and sharing lots of happy memories- Nom x
