I had a chilled-out morning getting ready with Charlotte (at their new house!). The bridesmaids and her parents were around to lend a hand as well as family popping in with the bouquets! Then I got to jump in the Tesla wedding car with Charlotte and her Dad to the church.
Malc was over in Ellesmere Port at the hotel with Mat getting ready. He’d been to Christ Church Chester before for a very special lockdown wedding reception out in the orchard at the back but it was really nice to get inside this time!

We found this sweet field of wild flowers near Larkspur Lodge for some pictures of the two of them, and their wedding car. It was a gorgeous day to be surrounded by nature.
At Larkspur we chatted on the lawn in the sunshine, looking for shade spots and refreshing with drinks and donuts. Thankfully inside was nice and cool as we took our seats for the meal and speeches.
The evening was really relaxed with most people sitting on patio chatting as the sun went down. Inside there was relaxed ceilidh music and the photo booth. Oh and outside there was freshly cooked pizza from an old fire truck.
