Mark and vicki’s WEDDING
We loved this relaxed wedding with homemade, vintage details… and a castle!
wedding morning preparations
We kicked off the morning with Vicki, her daughter April and the girls getting ready at the Tamworth Castle Hotel. Mark and their boy Freddie got ready at home and came along to the hotel looking smart. it was so sweet to see the kids encouraging each other and getting excited as they waited to walk down the aisle. Freddie had a little sign to carry.

The registrars led Mark and Vicki through their ceremony and vows. It was a simple and personal wedding with all their favourite people watching from the front row.
Afterwards Mark and Vicki led their guests round to the castle grounds for photos. It was a stunning Autumn day, what a location for your photos guys! After some group photos the guests headed inside to get a drink and we took some photos of the two of them around the park.

The ceremony room was transformed for the wedding breakfast. Everyone found their table and got settled in for the speeches. There were little guest question sheets to fill in which a few people took really seriously including drawing a little self-portrait.
All the speeches were heartfelt. It was fun to hear from Vicki and her Mum as well as the Groom and Best Man. As a surprise for Mark, Vicki presented him with a framed message signed by all the players of his favourite football team (Walsall!) during her speech.
Then dinner was served. We got to sit with some of Mark & Vicki’s friends, which was great fun. They shared lots of fun stories and memories of the newlyweds.
The evening guests arrived in the bar as the room was set up for an evening of dancing. The kids were the first to the dancefloor!
