This was a beautiful wedding from the church ceremony right through to the sunny summer’s night at Pryor’s Hayes Golf Club.

wedding morning preparations
Alice got ready in the gorgeous Grosvenor Hotel in the center of Chester with her bridesmaids and mum. When she was ready they got to walk down the to meet her Dad and jump in the wedding cars to get to church. It was sweet to see the people gathered outside hoping to spot the bridal party.
Malc met the boys when they were ready to walk from their hotel to the church. It was fun to walk through the center of Chester and take in the atmosphere.

We arrived at the church in the rain but there was such a friendly welcome, especially from the vicar. The ceremony was a really good one with friends leading the music and toilet roll to illustrate the sermon. Always a fan of props in church!
Afterwards there were heaps of drinks and cakes served at the back of the church as we took some relaxed group shots outside. Then everyone lined up a confetti tunnel to take Jack and Alice to their Rolly Royce wedding car.

On arriving at Pryors Hayes we went off in buggies for photos. And their fun videographers came along for the ride. Then we headed back to the garden to greet the guests and play games in the sunshine.
The wedding breakfast was in this gorgeous airy room. They started with speeches, including singing by Alice’s Dad and a heap of helpers. Then there was fantastic food for everyone (we’d highly recommend the curry if you get the chance).
It was a lovely evening for chatting out on the deck and in the garden. We set up the photo booth and the DJ made sure the dancefloor was never empty.
