DANNY & LUCY’S WEDDING

We loved exploring Amersham for this wedding and what a beautiful day to celebrate these two. We loved the floral details throughout this gorgeous wedding from Lucy’s dress to the bridesmaids' flower hoops as well as the displays throughout the day. Much love to the Nagundo Tree who’s magic was woven throughout this wedding.

Danny and his team got ready together at the hotel before rounding up guests and heading over to the chapel. Lucy got ready at her parents’ with all the girls. While they were being pampered by hair and makeup Lucy's little sister kept everyone entertained with her magic tricks. White London taxis arrived to take them to the ceremony.

The setting of Ashlyns School Chapel was spectacular with huge confetti balloons adding a touch of whimsy. The choir sang and there was a wonderful atmosphere for Danny and Lucy to make their promises to each other.

There was a flurry of confetti and congratulations then it was time for the guests to jump on the Routemaster bus to ride to the reception.

These Star Wars fans couldn't pass up the May the Fourth opportunities. King’s Chapel was full of Star Wars details: there were homemade napkins on the tables around the VHS tape centrepieces, the boys had Star Wars patterns on their waistcoats and coordinating cufflinks. Danny and Lucy had even arranged a surprise visit from a family dressed up as characters from the franchise. They were great fun and joined in for group photos!

Lucy had invited another surprise guest for Danny- their dog! Of course we got a few photos of them together. We headed to the gardens to take a few moments with Danny and Lucy away from the crowd, then dashed back inside after a sudden downpourof rain.

They cut their wedding cake (Star Wars themed of course!) and everyone took their seats for the speeches and dinner. We love this room at Kings Chapel- it's so bright and full of character, with the balcony for us to shoot from too.

After the first dance the party got lively with glowsticks aplenty, photo booth fun and a pizza feast.
