Rich & Nikita’s WEDDING

This wedding was beautiful and delicious, which made it a real treat to photograph. The Factory Works gave Rich and Nikita the perfect space for their celebration.

Our favourite moment of the whole day just might have been Nikita’s wedding entrance, she walked in alone and everyone got their first look at her stunning sequined dress. Rich was waiting for her at the top of the aisle and their simple ceremony got underway. Nikita’s sister gave a beautiful reading. They said their vows, exchanged rings, signed the schedule and headed outside into the Autumn sun.

Their family followed them outside for some group photos. Then we had a short wander round the streets of Digbeth for some photos of Rich & Nikita.

The rest of their guest had arrived at Factory Works, Rich and Nikita greeted them all in a receiving line. Guest took their seats at long banqueting tables to listen to the speeches.

Factory Works is such a wonderful, airy space and their setup looked incredible. A feast was served up for dinner by Baked in Brick (who have a delicious restaurant just round the corner). The family-sharing style platters went down a storm.

After food the band set up and the party started with Rich and Nikita’s first dance. We loved that their friends really let their hair down on the dancefloor. There was a table full of snacks to keep them going - having samosas at your wedding party is always a good idea.
